Treatment
At Stokesley Dental Practice we provide NHS dental services, including examination, diagnosis, treatment and prevention, for both adults and children. Due to demand and limitations of NHS funding, there is occasionally a waiting list for new NHS patients. Please call 01642 710 421 to discuss your options.
NHS dental services cover essential treatment to help patients maintain function and remain healthy and pain free. NHS dental services do not cover private, advanced or cosmetic treatments. At Stokesley Dental Practice, we endeavour to assess your teeth on an individual basis and provide you with the information to make the best possible choice on your care.
NHS dental care is free of charge for children under the age of 18, and for those aged 18 and in full-time education. NHS dental care can also be free of charge for those who qualify under the NHS exemption criteria. If you believe you may qualify for free of charge NHS dental care, please bring proof of exemption along to your dental visit. In England and Wales the fees for NHS treatments fall within 3 bands, which are fixed, and subsidised by the NHS:
